Janet has come full circle in her career. From her beginnings as a research analyst in the investment business to owning her own full service catering operation in Charlotte, NC. La-tea-da's mission has been a focus throughout her career: to create celebrations through exceptional food and outstanding service with "Southern Charm and Modern Twists". Janet enjoys supporting the sales team while acting as the liaison with the culinary team of La-tea-da's. Her passion for the ultimate guest experience and attention to detail sets La-tea-da's apart in the Charlotte market. La-tea-da's is a proud member of NACE, ISES, and the International Catering Association.

In her free time... traveling, champagne, rescue dogs!

Chrys Woodson

Chrys is responsible for all accounting and daily managerial duties. Chrys started her career in nursing but quickly realized that she was of the business mind. She enjoyed a career at EJ Smith & Sons and went on own the business. She sold her part in 1985 and joined La-tea-da's full time. Chrys and her late husband, Harold, were a vital part of the strong foundation that La-tea-da's is built on today. They are responsible for La-tea-da's core values of treating people well, (employees and clients) always giving 100%, and always thinking of the guests' perspective.

Culinary must have... peanut butter!

In her free time... traveling, walking, enjoying fine dining, & wine.

Elizabeth Walczy

Elizabeth has been in the catering industry for nine years after graduating from University of Maryland with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management and attending the Hospitality School at East Carolina University. Elizabeth enjoyed working with a fast-paced catering company in the DC market but relocated to the Carolinas to be closer to family and friends. Her experience in the larger DC market gives her clients access to unique service styles, progressive menu and beverage options and many other diverse catering options. Elizabeth's love for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and galas makes her a great addition to the team along with her love for all things events.

In her free time... eating out & doing yoga.

Tiffany Simmons

Tiffany has been in food service for the last ten years with a Culinary Arts Degree from Johnson & Wales University and a Business Management Degree from UNCC. Her number one passion is all things FOOD and she discovered this at a young age while growing up in the eclectic town of Athens, Georgia. Tiffany's management and chef background enable her to design the perfect events for both corporate and non-profit clients. Her professionalism and business mind allow her to relate to clients from all over whether it's a “styled” corporate lunch or an elaborate grand opening celebration.

Madison Taylor

Madison is a native Texan and upon graduation from Texas Tech University with a degree in Restaurant Hotel Institutional Management she relocated to the east coast to pursue her love for food and all things creative. Madison uses her in-depth knowledge of both the culinary and marketing worlds to produce a wide range of social and corporate events. She produces intimate parties; corporate drop offs and assists with large-scale special events of all kinds. Madison's combination of her Texas roots and Southern ways makes her a great asset to the La-tea-da's team.

In her free time.... exploring new restaurants, home decor & spending time with her two Labradors, Lucy & Charlie.

Arron McGill

Arron is a native Charlottean and has been in the hospitality business since he was a teenager. Arron has an extensive fashion and theatre background that led him to New York to pursue his dreams. He eventually missed the south and found himself back in Charlotte working for the La-tea-da's team as their Lead Designer and Operations Manager. Arron's creative talent shines bright in our creative food displays, eloquent station design, innovative food service styles and signature cocktails/mixology!

In his free time... traveling, dining out & keeping up with the latest industry trends to keep La-tea-da's ahead!

Culinary must have... Asian food & BACON!
